Do you want to create a unique and handmade arrangement that lasts forever? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to make a beautiful centerpiece using our Sola Wood Flowers, greenery, and a few extra simple supplies.

Follow along step by step, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is!

Materials Needed

  • Sola flowers
  • Greenery
  • Wire stems
  • Glue sticks
  • Hot Glue Pot
  • Scissors or wire cutters
  • Pool noodles

Step One

1. Hot Glue Gun: 

  • Insert one glue stick into the glue gun.
  • Plug in and turn on the glue gun.
  • Wait until the gun heats up and is ready to use.

Step Two

2. Get Your Flowers Ready:

  • Prepare your Sola Wood Flowers and set them aside for arranging.

Step Three

3. Add Your Greenery:

  • Start prepping your greenery.
  • In this case, separate the greenery baby’s breath white and preserved eucalyptus into smaller pieces.
  • This will make it easier to tuck them into your arrangement later.

Step Four

4. Build the Base:

  • Now identify the pool foam.
  • You will receive two different sizes for each of your arch décor arrangements.
  • Position them with zip zip-ties where you’d like your floral arrangement to go; they’ll act as your base and visual reference.

Step Five

5. Wire the Flowers:

  • Take one wire stem and one flower, dip the tip of the wire stem in hot glue to secure the wire and flower together.
  • Insert the wire stem from the bottom of each flower through the top (be careful of not trespassing the full flower).
  • This gives your flowers a sturdy stem for arranging.

Step Six

6. Secure Flowers to the pool noodle:

  • Now take the bottom of your wire stem (with flower), and dip the bottom of the wire stem in hot glue.
  • Insert the wired flowers into the pool foam. Push them in gently while the glue is hot so they stay in place.
  • This secures the wire and foam together.

Step Seven

7. Add Greenery for Volume:

  • Fill in the gaps between flowers by inserting your greenery into the pool noodle.
  • This step adds fullness and makes the arrangement look natural and balanced.

Step Eight

8. Final Touches:

  • Adjust your flowers and greenery until the arrangement looks even and full.
  • Step back, make small adjustments, and enjoy your handmade creation!

Final Result

Congratulations! You’ve just created your own sola wood flower arrangement.
